Philosophy
and Purpose of Chiropractic
- A father and son team brought Chiropractic to the world.
- Daniel David Palmer began modern Chiropractic by applying gentle and
precise force to the vertebrae of the spine.
- DD Palmer taught his son BJ
- The father and son team taught the first modern chiropractors and
their patients that a person can heal themselves because the innate
intelligence of our bodies actually strides toward health and balance.
- Humans are so often stressed by many factors that interfere with our
health:
- Genetic
- Environmental
- Work related
- Sports related
- Childhood related
- Emotional related
- Food related
- Chemical related.
· These factors seriously weaken our systems. Under these conditions,
innate intelligence alone cannot cope fully to lead us to perfect health,
but will always strive to do so.
- · Our innate intelligence primarily lives in the nervous system
-- the brain, the spinal cord, the spinal nerves, and all the nerves
everywhere in the body. When the highly sensitive and complex nervous
system loses its function, it needs support.
- · Examples of loss of this function:
- Inability to walk
- Inability to use the back or limbs.
- A steady deterioration of an organ system
- Nerve interference.
- Fatigue
- Pain
- Malaise
- Headaches
- Aches
- Strains
With loss of function- big or small - your body will not be able to keep
creating health for you. The innate intelligence will not be able to do
its job by itself.
The support it needs is the Chiropractic adjustment.
- · The purpose of the Chiropractic adjustment is to restore
the nervous system to function, thereby enabling the innate intelligence
of the body to restore and improve health.
- · There are many different kinds of Chiropractic -- some
gentle, some firm. We offer both gentle and firm Chiropractic.
We have helped thousands of people,
we hope we can help you too!
